Beginning January 30, the City of Houston's Public Works and Engineering Department will perform repairs on concrete panels located near the 2400 block of W. Lake Houston Parkway. During construction, crews will work between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The contractor will make repairs in the left southbound lane and the right northbound lane.
One lane will remain open at all times in each direction, however intermittent lane closures and delays are expected during construction. As a result, Council Member Martin has alerted the Houston Police Department's Kingwood Substation and has asked that officers help with traffic mitigation when possible. Additionally, traffic control measures will be in place on site including traffic barrels, traffic cones, directional signage and flagmen. Repairs are expected to be complete by February 3, weather permitting.
For more information, please contact the District E office at (832) 393-3008 or via email at districte@houstontx.gov.
